Job Description

As a Claim Reporter, you will initiate and document property insurance claims, conduct client calls, verify claim details, and prepare essential documentation. You’ll ensure accurate reporting, maintain clear communication with all parties, and support smooth claim processing from start to finish.

Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work setup: Onsite – Bogotá, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Detail-oriented mindset

Your Daily Tasks

• Report property insurance claims, accurately detailing damage and loss specifics
• Input all claim and client-related information into the system with accuracy and completeness
• Conduct welcome calls to introduce clients to the firm and address initial questions
• Send follow-up welcome emails with key contact information
• Obtain and verify client contact details, including phone, email, mailing address, and points of contact
• Organize and conduct conference calls with clients and mortgage companies to confirm insurance coverage
• Maintain awareness of statutes of limitations across different states and record them in the system
• Confirm claim details with insurance carriers and clarify specifics of reported losses
• Draft Letters of Representation (LOR) based on claim details and state requirements
• Record LOR drafting dates and update relevant system fields
• Gather damage information directly from clients
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental needs
